Change Your Car Color With Wrap

A wrap makes your vehicle completely customizable and unique. You may have heard of color changing car wraps, but there are far more car wrap color options than you imagined! There are a huge range of colors and finishes available, including solid colors rarely found in car paint, color flow/color flips that change based on direction and lighting, pearlescent colors, chromes, satin and matte colors, or completely custom designs that can be printed. Even common cars can become unique with a wrap, how often do you see an orange Honda Civic or a satin blue Mazda 6?

Does A Wrap Protect Your Vehicle? Yes!

A wrap is very similar to paint protection film but with a few differences. A wrap is not quite as thick as paint protection film but will still protect your vehicle from minor scratches, bumps, and damage, especially when the wrap is properly laminated. The biggest difference is that PPF is virtually invisible and leaves your car looking the same while a wrap gives you many options.

How Much Is A Car Wrap? It Depends.

A high quality full color change wrap is generally $1900 to $3500 depending on the size of the vehicle and the choice of color. This is comparable to a good mid-range paint job, although it is important to keep in mind that a paint job and a wrap serve different purposes. It is also much cheaper in price by square foot to paint protection film, although most people would not choose to fully wrap their vehicle in PPF making a wrap an economical choice for protection. Many customers wonder why a wrap is so expensive when they’ve been quoted $600 for a full paint job, but this is because it is not a fair comparison. You can get the same car quoted for a paint job anywhere from $500 to $10,000, because there will be a huge difference in quality of materials, attention to detail, level of experience, and customization options. Ultimately wraps and paint serve different purposes, particularly due to the next reason:

Car Wraps Are Totally Removable

A wrap is a temporary outer skin for your vehicle. A matte black car wrap can easily be reverted back to its original color. Most will easily last 2 or 3 years and leave your car looking perfectly new underneath. Unlike paint you will not have to get your registration updated to a new color, and nothing on your car will be permanently changed which can hurt resale value. This means its easy to have a vehicle color change. If you’re feeling particularly bold you can choose a crazy color and not have to worry too much about it, because when you get tired of it it will be easily removed without a trace.
